How to stay organized

My plan of action :) lol

Personal/home:
Wednesday and Sunday are laundry days... hoping to get that down to just once a week! lol
Monday - dusting.. including picture frames, electronics and baseboards
Tuesday - bathroom cleaning day
Thursday - CLEAN the kitchen
Friday - Bedrooms

Every other day I will scrub the kitchen floor... don't really need it every day but I do sweep it every day.
Every day of course I have to vaccumm... if not twice a day with my 3 kiddos! lol
Clean their toys every month... of course more often if a friend is over and has their mouth on the toys or the kiddos are sick (which is almost never)
I run the dishwasher just once a day... if all the dishes don't fit in it I hand wash them!
*That's all I can think of right now*

Business:
I color code things to stay organized since working from home can be tough sometimes balancing life, family and work.
Red - for any appointments we have personally like check ups, dentists or anything
Blue - my bill deadlines. I write in my planner when each bill is due so I don't forget.
Purple - business appointments or meetings
Black - fun stuff like playdates, shopping and whatnot

I work my business hours when the kids are down for a nap, when my husband is home and when they are down for bed. I make appointments through out the day around my kids too. I love that I can but this is what I do!

She got her first progress report

My little girl is growing up faster then I ever thought. She's 3 years old, will be 4 next month, and yesterday I had my first parent-teacher meeting with her preschool teacher. Valerie is doing great in school and I'm soo proud! She needs to work on a few things like how she colors, recognizing her letters and numbers when NOT in order and recalling stories, but the teacher says she thinks those things are about her age mostly. Valerie colors very nice actually. If we're sitting in the living room coloring together she colors in the lines and does an awesome job. I have noticed that sometimes she will just scribble when we're doing homework and she needs to color that blue and this red or something... but like her teacher said, it could be just because she feels rushed. I have made up flashcards for Valerie with her numbers and letters and she usually does pretty good with the numbers. She does get a few of them confused but she's only 3. When it comes to letters, I know she needs some work and I plan on doing something about that too. Although, the teacher is kind of confusing me...she says that maybe she feels overwhelmed with school twice a week and us doing home school, but yet she thinks she needs to work on her letters. Either way, Valerie and I are going to work on it! She's excited when we do homework and I reward her with stickers so she loves it. I'm so proud of her regardless!

I love this whole soccer mom thing too! I can't wait until spring and Valerie gets involved in more stuff. She wants to try soccer and dance so we're definitely looking forward to that!! I'm excited for my other 2 kiddos to start school but in the meantime I'm enjoying every "baby" moment I can!!

Trying to understand people is a huge waste of time

All my life I would try to understand why people did this or that... why people didn't do this or that. After starting my home-based business I would ask myself "why the heck would anyone say no to saving money" or "why in hell would anyone say no to maybe making some extra money just by showing people a better way to shop?" Needless, to say I never got my answer. But after a conversation with my mentor about this she told me to STOP trying to understand people!! Easy for her to say... sometimes I think too much, I guess. lol But, ya know, she was right! I need to stop thinking about why people do or don't do things. I just need to focus on those that are ready to make a difference in others' lives and focus on those that are ready to understand what I do. Trying to understand people just adds more stress to me and with 3 kids... sometimes 4 with my husband lol... I definitely don't need more stress! :) So people... don't try to understand anyone but yourself. Worry about YOU! To some that might sounds selfish but you HAVE to! Otherwise, your life will pass you by quicker then anything because you were too worried about understanding why a friend was a complete ass when you were just trying to help or why someone said no to you when you wanted to show them something that would make a difference in their lives! When you understand YOU and worry about you and your's... you create peace (I believe) with yourself and you're a much more positive person!

A bit about me (more mom stuff then my "about me" lol)

I'm a mom to 3 little kiddos... 2 beautiful little girls who are 2 and 3 years old; and a baby boy that is 8 months old (born in May 09). I'm a crazy and busy mom to say the least but I love it! :-) In my blogging I will share with you my life on almost a daily basis, how I keep sane, what I'm doing, some tips and advice for other moms, and even some new tib-bits I get from some books I'm reading... including leadership and business books. I'm a work from home mommy and love what I do! I love to meet new moms and just chat about our life... our kids, which just might include our significant others. lol :-) You will probably see alot about my company that I am apart of but get use to it because they are a HUGE part of my life! You have your opinions and I have mine... I'm very open-minded but depending on what it is concerning can be "stuck" in my ways. Call me stubborn, that's okay, I'm a woman and allowed to be. lol Hope you ladies get something out of this and if you have any questions or what have you feel free to contact me! :-)
